Anything with DOOM (Madvillain, MF DOOM, DANGERDOOM, etc.), Busdriver (if you can stand his rapid-fire delivery), Aesop Rock, k-os, The Streets (for a little trans-Atlantic flavor), J Dilla (esp. his Jaylib collab), Killer Mike, OutKast (of course), can't go wrong with a little Talib Kweli and/or Mos Def...

And just so y'all don't think I'm being overly pretentious, Lil Wayne (hey, for a "pop"-rapper he's actually pretty good...)

Don't bother with any of the commercial garbage that's popular right now. Find yourself some Biggie songs, maybe some old Bone Thugs, Nas, maybe some old Jay Z.
