    Why would Gonzaga have jerseys and they have ZAGS on front of the jersey

    Atleast use Gonzaga and they must new uniforms they broke out cause I have never seen them......

    I have never seen a sports team use a nickname like that.......

    If ISU was better at sports, then we'd receive more media attention. Then the media would talk about ISU so much, they would have to find ways to shorten up our name to save air time. Then the nickname would catch fire all over the country, and everyone would be able to recognize us by that nickname. Then we could justify putting that sweet, nationally known nickname on our jersey. Like Clones or something.

    But we don't have to worry about something like that ever happening.

    Well...I believe they wear jerseys because it would be inappropriate not to wear jerseys.
