That's a pretty bizarre coincidence, because I just went to supper about 6 and drove right past our convention center, where a big sign out front said Ron White was appearing there today at 7.

I just got home. Pretty good show. Very little (none?) of the material that I'd seen on TV before. Then again, I've only seen his standup stuff, not his sitcom or "Country Fried Videos" show.

how do these guys get this much money for these shows when its a comedian, a microphone, and a barstool? i just don't get how it costs are on par with seeing someone like bon jovi or aerosmith who have roadies, staging, etc.
maybe its just me?

The concerts usually pull in a lot more people, so the ticket prices cover the costs of the roadies and the staging.

The comedians aren't going to regularly pull in 12,000+ crowds. At least I don't think they do.....

Oh that I know. I get that its proportionately not the same size of place but still the price tag just gets me. But people pay and show up so it really doesn't matter anyway.

He was here earlier this semester...and was funny as hell!

I would've went to Bill Engvall but $39 was a little (lot) steep.
