...and the mother wants all unmanned salons to be shut down. Can we get a CyBookie on whether or not the mom had any influence on her daughter's "curiosity" into the tanning world?

This is what's wrong with our world today. Instead of realize that the kid was dumb, they try to kill the tanning salons. I wonder what the next stupid thing is this kid will do since the mom obviously doesn't teach her kid accountability.

I don't think the U.S. has unmanned tanning salons.

I feel bad for the kid, but I agree...where the **** was the mom? Apparently she has enough time for this lawsuit but not enough to make sure this kid doesn't stay in a tanning booth that long?

This probably doesn't happen with a 10 minute conversation about the things that could go wrong in a tanning booth, or at least some supervision.

Sharon better hide the hair dryer before Miss Kelly drops it into a bath full of water.

At least tanning salons allow people to look on the outside the same way they do on the inside....fake.

To be fair, it is a pretty stupid idea to have unmanned tanning booths where anyone, including children, can pump it full of money without any kind of supervision. Obviously closing them because of this one incident is stupid, but I would consider closing them all anyways because the idea is pretty stupid.

Why was the girl in a tanning bed in the first place? I mean whats the point of getting a tan if people know that they go "tanning" and also you pay insane prices to lay under a really strong lamp? It burns the skin pigments leaving people looking like oompa loompas

And there is the root of the issue. Plus, it probably gives you skin cancer too. Having gone through that earlier this year, trust me, you don't want that...
