No offense to you country music lovers, but I'll choose James any day.
I don't care if you like country or not, this guy has been entertainer of the year many many times for a reason so I find it hard to believe that the Civic Center was nearly as awesome to be at than Wells Fargo Arena was last night. I'm not even a huge Kenny fan, I like his stuff but wouldn't consider him in my top 3 of favorites and I still thought it was one of the best shows I've been to. Throw in 2 of the hotter young country acts to open for him and for $21 nosebleed seats I got more than my money's worth last night.
I will say for any of you that do like country, I'd highly recommend seeing Big & Rich at the state fair if you haven't bought tickets to them already. I know they aren't everyone's cup of tea but they do put on one helluva show and they know how to keep the fans standing up and rocking out nearly the entire concert.

Taylor - sold out -- 2,200 and Chesney with 11,000 (according to the Register). Any reports for either before or after the concerts as to the crowds/activity downtown?

All Play was really busy before the concert, lots of drunks walking around after it. That pretty much sums it up...

Re: Dallas Clark
Day of the show you could get Chesney tickets for about $30, Taylor over $1000.
