Help identifying a weed...in my lawn
I don't know much about lawns/weeds, so I am looking for some help. I live in the Twin Cities area, I have a weed that is growing in a few areas of my yard. It's been there for a couple summers, and I haven't been able to get rid of it with a couple applications of weed-b-gon max. If I let it grow out, it sprouts some type of purple flower (if I recall correctly from last year). Does anyone know what this is and/or how to get rid of it?? Thanks!

Yeah, I was disheartened.
I've got to say, I've never seen that one. How does it smoke?

What a disappointment this could have been great. Just pull them or spot treat them or let your lawn guy know.

With this title, you are going to have 15000 people visit this thread eating chips, oreo cookies and milk trying to figure out what the heck you are talking about! Most will be in Iowa City.
E-mail your photo's to the ISU extension office. Or take your photo into an Earl May store.

Z Check w/ your county extension office. They might be able to ID it, or find a resource for you. Most likely at no charge. Posted via Mobile Device -
