I haven't see the courses he took, but I'm betting Greek & Hebrew as well as researching Church History....Roman history....FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, did some Greek, but no Hebrew on the PhD (did 2 years of Hebrew for my master's though). Took a lot of classes on theological concepts like hermeneutics, ecclesiology, and a theology of nature...etc., depends on what seminars are being offered. Pretty fun in general, but a lot of work as any grad school.
