Can't believe I wasted my time

Just turned on KXNO for 5 minutes..... holy crap this is bad sports radio.

Yeah, the afternoon show with Andy and whatshisnuts I really thought didn't sound like a bad idea when I heard about, but I've heard all of about 30 minutes here and there and...yeah, it's terrible.

I only listened on the way out of Des Moines for State Basketball and couldn't believe how bad it is. At least in CR we have Scott Unash (sp), he ain't great but he beat any slobbering fools on KXNO.

1:00 to 3:00 you should be listening to Tirico and Van Pelt on The Champ anyways. Just stay away from 12:00 to 1:00 lest you be subjected to listen to Garmin and the Round Guy fumble through an hours worth of radio.

I wish I could... my crappy little radio in my office in Story City doesn't quite get the champ. I really enjoy that show.

That sucks, I notice I can barely listen to the champ even if I'm just driving on the north side of Ames.

I'm probably in the minority, but I completely disagree. I love the segment.

Otherwise it's just the same 3 topics gargled a 5th time. Don't care for the Champ either because I could care less about the NBA.

This thread is the epitome of what Deace and Miller were making fun of earlier this week! Well, at least part of it... "These radio show guys suck... but I've only listened 5 minutes." or "What is the format of KXNO?"

Just like Miller said (and don't get too big headed, I don't agree with him a lot) - the format is whatever they want it to be when they are on the air. If the mgmt wants the format changed, they will no longer be on the air. Plus it is summer. Give them a chance during football season.

Couldn't put it any better.

You have to give them a break, without football or winter sports going on, there is only so much to talk about.

I'll listen but only becasue of lack of choices. Tana will be on and while she's a sharp chick it's not what I want to listen to.

People will never be happy.

People complained forever about Cotlar, JM, and M&M.....all three get replaced or revamped....and more complaining.


KXNO could literally come to some of you, ask your input, change everything to meet your exact requests, and you'd still ***** about it.

Good radio talent is hard to find, apparently they still haven't found it.
