Although when he met with McG about Salvation he apparently liked the direction he took it.

Re: Terminator: Salvation
I really enjoyed this movie. This ties together the story really nicely, while still creating openings for future cash installments, I mean movies.

Re: Terminator: Salvation
I thought Terminator: Salvation was the worst movie I had seen in years at the theater. Alot of the scenes reminded me of War of the Worlds (probably the worst movie ever). I had watched all the Terminator movies and thought this one would be the best, but Christian Bale ruined the movie for me. He is now tied with Keanu Reeves as Hollywood's worst actor. I literally spent the last 30 minutes of the movie cleaning out my wallet and seeing if I could juggle popcorn because I was so bored.

Re: Terminator: Salvation
Saw it today...thought it was pretty good. Not great and not nearly as good as the new Star Trek as someone already mentioned - but good.
I think people put way too much into movies. It's there for entertainment. If you're watching the movie and the whole time looking for reasons they missed something, an actor was not perfect, etc...
Take a pill and relax. :)

Take a pill and relax. :) Well said. It's not perfect, but it's a good movie.

Re: Terminator: Salvation
I liked it a ton, thought it was really good. I was probably a pretty easy audience for the flick, I've been wanting to see a movie set in the future since the first flick.

I was really looking forward to actually watching the war with the machines, and it lived up to expectations.
I thought the story put things together logically and with some good suspense. I could see how hopeless the human situation really looked to be, but we still overcame the impossible odds, at least for now.
The more I thought about it, the more I enjoyed the movie. I think that's going to be it's biggest obstacle: A lot of ticket-buyers will go in expecting a slam-band adventure, things blowing up in a spectacular fashion every couple of minutes, and that's not what this movie set out to deliver. (Although there is plenty of it!)

Re: Terminator: Salvation
Saw it the other night and thought it was pretty good. In comparison to last summer, it will be to Star Trek what Hulk was to Iron Man and Dark Knight, an entertaining night at the movies, but not the big memorable movie of the year.

(Although there is plenty of it!) I agree. A lot of people go into movies like this with crazy expectations that can never be met and they're always disappointed. I go into movies with reasonable hopes, and I thought this movie was pretty damn good overall.
I've been wanting more of the battle scenes with the machines and thought T3 would do that but it didn't. This one had great action scenes, and its amazing how good they've gotten with the CGI of the bots. I thought the storyline was good too in the way it tied the other movies in. The very ending was a bit lame, though.

Re: Terminator: Salvation
I thought it was an OK movie. Woulda been better if they would have found Mad Max out there and the thunderdome.

I thought Skynet had found the Cubs offense, but they have decided to strike back against the machine tonight. Probably, Skynet shouldn't have sent in the Pirates to finish the job.
