Re: Where are the worst drivers?
After driving quite a bit in South Carolina and Georgia, I would agree with this list. The left lane is the cruising lane and the right lane is the passing lane. Don't ask me why, that's just how it works.

Re: Where are the worst drivers?
The correct answer is Omaha, Nebraska. Good god, I don't think they teach driver's education in this city. If they do it must go something like this:
1) Start vehicle
2) Put vehicle in "Drive"
3) Do whatever the **** you want
4) Pretend you are the only vehicle on the road at all times
And for the last time, YOU CAN'T MAKE A LEFT TURN FROM DODGE! (you may have to have lived in Omaha to understand that).

If you're on a 2 lane road, people will often pull off onto the shoulder for you so that you can pass.
Much better than some other states:
Oklahoma drivers. dear god. drive like idiots.
Michigan drivers: left lane campers
Atlanta drivers: east coast aggressive, southern country not paying to what theyre diong.

Re: Where are the worst drivers?
Living in Massachusetts it was not a surprise at all to see them at #45. When people ask me what the biggest difference between Iowa and MA is, I tell them it is the drivers. No one seems to know the rules of driving or pay attention to what they are doing here. At the same time, they are very aggressive in their driving. It is unbelievable how bad they are really.

Re: Where are the worst drivers?
Having lived in Minnesota for a few years before I moved back to Iowa, I would have to say the Wisconsin residents that work in the Twin Cities. Especially in the winter-time. I can't believe that when the first snow hits, people completely forget how to drive. I'd say 70% of the time it's morons in 4WD Trucks/SUVs who think that 4WD makes them invincible and makes their tires magically stick to ice. Guess what...nothing sticks to ice...
As for Texas, the only issue I had when them, is that when they want to get somewhere quick, you better move out of the way. But if you want to get there quick, they'll move for you too. So I guess they're not bad drivers, but some of them are pretty crazy in their blatant disregard for anything resembling a speed limit.

Re: Where are the worst drivers?
well, with the distances involved between getting from one part of texas to another, you begin to understand the disregard for speed limits. I love it, you can cruise at 85 through most of their roads.

Re: Where are the worst drivers?
Born and raised in Iowa but have lived in Hawaii, Arizona, California, and now Missouri. By far the worst is Missouri. The cops dont know how to use turn signals.

Re: Where are the worst drivers?
Wisconsin. Left lane campers galore.
Left lane camping is not only annoying, its dangerous, especially in hilly, curvy areas.

Cuts you off
Keeps you boxed in and not let you out or change lanes
no turn signals on the cars thats an option I assumed since they dont use them
Speed in enclosed areas with inches...opps centimeters to spare
And the cars are just plain small. Imagine our family had a '60 Dodge Dart and that was twice the size of their cars

It is a common fact that cars in Missouri cost $650 less to buy than anywhere else in the country because they come without turn signals.
Where do you think the worst driver are? Missouri hands down. I always wanted to pay and go to one of those Nascar driving schools but why pay for it when you can experience it for free? Just go drive on the freeway in Kansas City.
