Re: No more Earl
Chuck is back with less and cheaper episodes too.

Yeah, I'm another "Earl" fan who is none too happy with the cancellation, especially when there's still so much crap out there. I have read rumors that it might move to Fox though, so there's still hope.

I like the Unit. That one's too bad.

My favorite My Name is Earl scene: Randy is digging in garden, finds a box with a cat skeleton in it
"Hey look, I found a shoe box, and it has a cat skeleton in it. I'm going to name it Crackers after my old cat that used to sleep in the street." Later, Randy has list, reads one:
"Hey, whats this one? 'Ran over Crackers.' What kind were they? I bet they sounded crunchy." -

NBC needs to be canceled.

Re: No more Earl
I hope it gets picked up at Fox. Are they going to leave us hanging that Crabman isn't Earl Jr.'s father? Just the thought of that is funny.
My favorite line of Earl was in the first season and not very PC. Earl was teaching English as a second language classes. One of the ladies in the class lived in the trailer park w/ Joy. She was in competition Joy's at home nail salon. Once she started to learn more English, her business picked up. When Joy confronted Earl about it she said, "I don't care if she's Chinese, Vietnamese or Chuck E. Cheese." Nobody can play poor, white trash like Jamie Pressley.

I like Jason Lee, but it was nice when each episode was a unique story (kind of like Law and Order was 15 years ago) - if you missed one, no biggie. Now it is so much about the backstory.

Re: No more Earl
Saw this earlier in the week when it was announced that Earl was canceled. The producer of the show said it's not necessarily a bad thing because they hope to be picked up by another network. He also had a quote saying "It's hard to be upset by being thrown off the Titanic." 'My Name Is Earl' creator is OK with being 'thrown off the Titanic' | Show Tracker | Los Angeles Times Originally Posted by brianhos That just seems weak. Here's the article about Chuck returning, which was pretty much because of Subway and the Fans. NBC renews 'Chuck' "If you can't hear me, it's because I'm in parentheses."
