I highly suggest you all burn your cards so mine go up in rarity. =)
I have a ton of stuff and would sell alot of it, but my Nolan Ryans, Jerry Rices, and my Hank Aaron are too sentimental no matter the worth. Im not even sure I would sell those if my family was starving.
Used to be a huge Mussina fan then the traitor went to the Yanks and all of his cards went into hiding.
Collected autographs for a long time so I have some of those, but a few dont have a cert of auth, so Im not sure I could sell those ones. Have a 92-93 redskins team signed ball. I would sell it, but Art Monk is on it and he was one of my all time faves so that nixes that.
How do I go about using Beckett? It seems like you need to have a subscription to use their site. I have some Favres, Jordans, Duncans, Bryants, and some signed Bob Tewksburys I want to price.

Goto a card shop or a book store and get the hard copy.
Does anybody here collect baseball/football/basketball cards or did in the past? I've got a couple thousand cards mostly baseball and basketball. I used to collect alot but not so much anymore. Does anybody know where you can sell them? I need to get rid of them and make some quick cash. Anyone got any information or stories?
I'm like a lot of you here. I have way too many cards and haven't looked at them in years. I used to go through them all the time... to the point I had rookie years memorized.
Today, there are just too many cards out there at inflated prices that are just rediculous. So, I've narrowed down to collecting just football cards of players in their collegiate uniforms. SAGE and Press Pass are the best, but even those have gotten pricey so I've pretty much stopped collecting altogether.
Kind of sad.
Ebay is the best place to sell... and buy too. I bought a box of 91 Dynagon for 40.00! Ended up with a Michael Vick RC... autographed! Sold it a year or so later for $178.00 to a kid that was a HUGE Vick fan. The card was booked at $250.00 at the time I think. This was before the pre-season ankel injury followed by the dog incident.
If you're looking for quick cash you're not going to get much for your cards. Unless they're extremely old, the value of cards has been dropping for years.
