I know a couple of a people who participate in this, and they absolutely love it. It's almost all they talk about. Never done it myself, though.

I understand what you are saying. I am an english major, so I am aware of the literary type definition of film. I think there is value in stories and I lump movies in with literature as well. I'm just saying there are a large part of movie consumers that don't care about the "art" of film. They just don't. I find myself caring less and less as time goes on.

That's why at least half this list is the way it is....I was almost physically sickened when I read my paren't Neisen diary a few months ago...

If a movie is entertaining, it's done it's job. Most people don't care about the "art" of a movie.
This movie has to be included, amazing what you can find on Showtime this late at night. I do have to say this has been very disappointing so far, the title and description made it seem so much more promising.
