Unfortunately, I've never played golf, but going to start and was curious what most CF'ers score. I know par is 72, but I also know that most people don't score any where near that.

par isnt always 72, i usually shoot about 5 over or better

I'll shoot anywhere from 90 to 110 depending on the difficulty of the course...I consider myself a crappy golfer. Depends how bad I get eaten alive on the par 3's.

High 80's on a good day but usually low 90's.

hit really well today including the 8 beers I had :) usually after 4 or 5 beers my game declines...couldve shot 8 over today but missed 2 short birdie putts!! still a great afternoon to golf and tomorrow is looking better at waveland!

I haven't played in years. When I was playing quite a bit in the mid 1990's I was shooting low 90s with an occasional 88 or 89

i golfed an 84 yesterday and it was my hgihest score yet so i wa really happy! usually im like a 90-95 golfer

If you are just starting, then breaking 100 is a good goal.

Also, do yourself a favor: learn the rules, and score yourself properly, every time. You will get a much better read on how you are improving, and it will be much more satisfying when you finally break 100 (and 90, etc.).

Most of all: Have fun!

EDIT: I am a 15, so breaking 90 is my goal these days. I shot 88 on back-to-back days last weekend, so I'm feeling good about my improvement so far this season.

80-85 usually. Over 85 would be a very bad day or a pretty tough course. Below 80 happens once in a while but I'm to busy to be consistently that low.

My best round was a 72. Usually in the low 80's

Know the rules and always be aware of course etiquette.
