I'll give them the benefit of the doubt (even though I don't think Soundoff is that good) because there isn't a lot going on, especially locally. But their show makes me listen to Bradshaw on 98.3 a lot more, and that is terrible for my blood pressure.

Johnny Orr, Earl Bruce, Johnny Majors, Harold Nichols, and Pete Taylor could have their own show and people would still complain that there isn't enough sports or ISU sports talked about.

Here...here. His show is definately like a bad accident. You know you shouldn't rubberneck and stare, but you just can't help yourself sometimes.

Hopefully Andy and Keith actually do some preparation when it comes time for college basketball and football season. Sounds like they have no idea what they wanna talk about it and just wing it.

I agree. I don't tune in much to them anymore, and missed today, but they sound as if they're doing KXNO a big favor by stopping by...no prep at all.

I don't have a problem with them dicussing things other than sports. Deace and Miller talk about other stiff all the time. I suppose they could just regurgitate the 2-3 good stories out there during the summer that are talked about on EVERY SINGLE other radio show. Matt and Miller may stay on sports topics, but I hate listening to them. There is something about Matt's voice that is unbearably annoying, and he comes off as arrogant and smug, and acts like sports in Iowa don't matter. Basically, it seems like all the Matt and Miller show consits of is them ripping on Iowa and Iowa State, what's the point?

I was thinking that exact same thing when Matt & Miller came on today. I was expecting hear about the Lakers/Nuggets game, the Red Wings advancing, or Z getting tossed yesterday...but what do I hear?

Matt going off about Brett Favre, and playing a sound bite from a bitter, jealous old man about how Brett is all about himself.

Of all the things to talk about, Matt Perault opens the show talking about Brett Favre. Give me a break.

This is a great time for a sports show, two major sports are in the playoffs another is just getting into the swing of things... Almost all of the regional teams are relevant in baseball right now and had some major news. The problem is that Keith and Andy are stuck in reporter mode. They expect to tell the story and have people call in to drive the show. You need to have an opinion to get things rolling and they never do... They would rather talk about the latest book Keith picked up at Barnes and Noble...
