Am I the only one who can't stand to watch softball because 90% of them have terrible swings? They swing down on a all going up, and expect it to go in the air! Why don't they swing rotational? It's so annoying..

I've always been told that the reason they swing down or with a level swing is because they don't have the reaction time to get any loop in the swing. A downswing is a quicker swing and allows them to make better contact.
