Landscaping help!

My dad is looking at getting some landscaping done by a company out of Fort Dodge. So far he has gotten 2 estimates, 1 from Griffins Landscapes and the other from Stone Creek Landscapes.

What can anyone tell me about them?? Good or Bad. I'd just like a get some opinions of comments from you guys if you know anything about them, or have even had work done by them! Thanks guys!

if the job isnt to big all i work for is beer and lunch, whats he looking for ?

I've had friends like you....and sometimes paying a contractor is cheaper than the beer and lunch!

he's lookin for a brick walkway, maybe a retaining wall, and some greenery stuff. Does anyone know anything about the 2 companies? mainly quality of work??

My buddy in Ft. Dodge had some work done by Stone Creek. It looks great but all I've seen are pictures.

They finished the job in less time than estimated.

My dad owns a landscaping company and i have been around the business my whole life. I have always thought the real small crews with only one or two people working for them are by far the best. They might not get it done fastest but it is much more likely to be quality work.

(and no im not pimping our business...we're a tad to far away from FD)

Is it Stone Creek or Stony Creek? I had Stony creek out of webster city do some and so did my dad. They did a great job. You can check out alot of work they have done at www.stonycreeklandscapes.com. They are great guys at stony creek and also huge Cyclone fans and season ticket holders.
