    First time to Ames in 10+ years

    What's changed?

    I will be there next Monday for the first time since December, 1996. I'm pretty sure I won't recognize most everything.

    New golf course east of JTS, and no O'Malley's..........At least two of the towers are gone. Traffic on Duff and Lincoln way still sux!

    Well mall is probably even more lame, Fredricksen Court is new, Pammel has moved, Somerset is new, tons of new buildings on campus, Reiman Gardens, new frisbee golf course, almost new waterpark, Target on Lincoln now on Duff along with Walmart, no pancheros in campustown, no minskys in campustown, battles moved to welch, so did jimmy johns, do biz is no longer there, hardees is now a panera, mcdonalds on welch closed, multiple more subways, more gas stations, hvyee wine and spirits, old dairy queen on welch closed, new dq on lincoln old one is now papa murphys, new bars have come and gone
