I am not sure if they are a franchise chain or a private owned chain either.

Re: Fast Food You Wish Would Come to the Area
I'm surprised you guys don't have the joint Long John Silvers/A&W combo restaurants - that's the setup for each of those restaurants here in the Quad Cities (and it's been that way for years)...
Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice? Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this. -
Re: Fast Food You Wish Would Come to the Area
I used to live a few miles away from the owner of Sub City. This was in the New Hartford area that got wiped out by the tornado last year. This was during the late 80's so it may have changed since. The guy moved from the east coast where he ran sub shops and opened up a few in the cedar falls/waterloo area.

I know that people who move from Nebraska get it shipped to them, though, so there's got to be something there that I just don't understand.

Yeah, but that A&W is weak sauce compared to like Carroll's and the one that used to be on the river in Cedar Rapids...the more old school A&W's.
