Lower back pain remedy
My lower back has a pretty good ache for the last 2 weeks. I have to golf tomorrow and will pop a few Advil but what works best for temporary relief? I'll probably head to a chiropractor soon but need to be loose for tomorrow.
TIA.

TIA. Pop an Aleve. Ice for half an hour, heating pad for half an hour. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Don't waste your time and money with a chiro.
alternate icing and heating, and take some naproxen.
work on some exercises to help your back.
google prone pressups and do that exercise often. Also lay flat on your back and do some knees to chest and knees (bent) to either side of the floor. Also, sit on the edge of your bed/chair and lean over and touch the floor - go as far down as possible.
work on strengthening your core, losing weight around your midsection and good daily posture/lifting technique to prevent further injury.

Is one Aleve enough or dare I go with 2? I'm assuming 1 is the stated dose.

Re: Lower back pain remedy
2 1/2. Wash it down with some beer and it'll dilute it.
