I laughed pretty hard. I liked the bit at the end where T-Pain says "she didn't even swear" with Auto-Tune still on. That's either a guy who is secure enough to laugh at himself, or someone who is trying to cash in as many times as possible before the clock ticks away what's left of his 15 minutes.

Being from the "I was country when country wasn't cool" era, after watching Taylor Swift & Def Lepord (sp?) together, I have officially given up on country music. Her parents must be so proud of her singing "Pour Some Sugar On Me", but then again I'm sure the money makes it much more acceptable. Speaking of live performances versus tweaking their recordings to make it sound like they can sing; the lead singer for Rascal Flats must have the same "tweaker" that she has!!

Taylor Swift is one of THE worst live singers I've ever heard. She is out of tune and out of breath all through her songs. She is a studio creation. If anything, she is a decent songwriter. Everything else is studio smoke and mirrors and heavy marketing.

If you want to hear a great female singer live in concert, go see Sugarland. Jennifer can actually sing and doesn't need to hide behind the music to do so.

I really don't like any country, but my wife does, so I hear more than I'd like to. She has great pitch and control, but her tone is painfully shrill in some of their music. I'm not sure if it's intentional or not, but on some songs it drives me crazy. Others, it's not noticable.
