iPhone 3.0 OS
Anyone else updated to the newest OS?
My first impression is that having landscape keyboard in txting is nice.
But on the negative side I think my 1st Gen is running slower since the install.

Re: iPhone 3.0 OS
I upgraded to the New OS yesterday. I've noticed that mine is running a bit slower on some things too - I had to turn it off and turn it back on a couple of times yesterday since it kept locking up.

Re: iPhone 3.0 OS
I am looking at getting an iPhone soon for work and one thing i always hated about the iPhone when i would use friends was that it woudln't do a landscape keyboard. Is this something that is now available with the new OS?

Re: iPhone 3.0 OS
Got 3.0 on my iphone yesterday and so far I like it. I had a bit of a hard time getting some apps to update. I've read it's just because a lot of people are trying to upgrade their apps right now. I really like all the new features. The push notification in IM+ is awesome, it will really cut down on my number of texts per month.

I'm going to have to do that. Have they made it possible to view flash yet?

Re: iPhone 3.0 OS
If you could come up with a flash support program you could be a very rich person.

Here is the one I like most: Internet Tethering
Share your Internet connection with your laptop with Internet tethering via Bluetooth or USB. 4 4. Tethering is not currently offered in the U.S. and some other countries. See your carrier for availability. That's funny.

Re: iPhone 3.0 OS
I have a hacked 1st generation on T-Mobile, but just switched last night to AT&T when I upgraded to the new 3GS... For those that are interested, I got the new phone from AT&T via the casback feature on bing.com (formerly Microsoft Live Search). I got 35% cashback, making my phone only 129.95.... I was pretty stoked about that. I just checked, and the deal is still active. I also got the confirmation email from Bing a few minutes ago. Make sure you use internet explorer when you do this as firefox doesn't always work. (I'm a chrome guy myself).
