Mediacom

Service pretty much down today - no cable tv, super-slow internet. Called in to customer service and outages across IA. Anyone else affected?

I was for about 10 minutes this morning. That's it though. Full cable and internet for me.

Turned the TV on around 11:00 - nothing. Didn't check on internet.

It was back and functioning within 20 minutes or so - but kept cutting out for split-seconds.

My cable started cutting in and out around 11 this morning. No internet issues. Everything is fine now.

I despised Mediacom when I had them. Iowa really needs to get some competition. Now that I live in South Dakota I have two quality cable companies to chose from. Neither requires a contract. Both are cheaper than Mediacom once the Mediacom promotional rate expires.

Nope no problems my satellite was working just fine along with my DSL line.

Internet and cable out for about 20 mins around 11 am.

I had the cable out for about 20 seconds. I then had to reset my modem after the outage. Other than that it's been good.

Mine was out for a few hours, cable and internet.

Mediacom has gotten a lot less reliable these past few weeks.

Everything good for me now - but I was like you - my outage wasn't for a few minutes, but a few hours. Clive.

Same here. My tvs that are plugged directly into cable were working, but my nothing was coming through my digital box. Internet was spotty off and on.

I've been here for a year and a half now, with maybe one outage between the time I moved in and a month ago. In the past month I have had three or four outages. I plan on calling them tomorrow to find out what kind of credit I can expect to see on my next bill, and what they're doing to keep this problem from continuing so I won't have to switch to a dish.
