i hate vista...

...and PCs in general, but mostly just Vista. sorry, i have to vent. that OS has more crashes then a vehicle testing site.

right now my problem is that explorer just won't open...i mean the basic function of the damn OS won't work. it just sits there and spins, the i have to try to close it out and usually just have to restart the computer.

the other day, the wireless card driver just stopped working...it said it wasn't there! then an hour later after about 5 restarts, it was back.

now it's not sure that it likes the driver for my new graphics card.

and this computer is only 6 months old...and i don't tax it at all. mainly jsut internet and some WoW. i don't have any of my design programs on there.

i sure hope windows 7 works better...just wish i didn't have to buy it.

Even vista does not suck as much as my wife's macbook. That thing never works.

I've never had any problems with Vista, my main gripe is how long it takes me to find things buried in the system that I can easily find in previous OSs'.

I bet your computer just needs a tuneup.

That 50 upgrade is good, i cant decide whether to do that, or theres rumors that MS will offer a 3 license family pack, allowing you to install it on 3 computers (regardless of previous os, so this may be easier for clean install). Pricing not announced, but news sites speculating at around 190.
