Re: Poorest college moment?
Drinking each night of the week at a different bar that had Penny Pitchers, 5 dollars all you can drink, Quarter Draws, etc.
The saddest thing I ever saw in college was when some D-Bag would actually hand the waitress or bartender a penny for a "penny pitcher." Uh, your still supposed to tip, you can probably throw a buck to the bartender for two freakin pitchers of beer.

Oh yeah, plasma donation. $200 extra a month to pay for my dirt-cheap apartment. Good times. That, coupled w/a decent part-time job kept tuition paid and kept me inebriated throughout college.
Poorest moment? Coming back from winter break to find the electricity shut off because I used all my discretionary funds to party after finals.
Re: Poorest college moment?
Borrowed money from a roommate to pay rent. Twice.
Re: Poorest college moment?
My poorest college experience has not yet happened.

We used to steal our toilet paper from campus and other restaurants. The best were the huge rolls that a few restaurants had that were like the size of car tires. I stole a huge roll out of Cocost and I had to walk out the back with it shoved up my shirt... while on a date with a girl I had just started dating.
Also ate Subway for 10 meals or so a week for about 2 years because I had friends that worked there and we could get free subs. Still hate the place to this day after getting burned out on it.
Re: Poorest college moment?
Using my parents BP Credit Card to buy lunch and some groceries at the gas station.
Re: Poorest college moment?
Bouncing checks to Hy-Vee to get cash for the bar. That or trying to withdrawal $5 from the ATM and finding out I didn't have enough.

been there ... My bank charged me twice - once for the overdraft ($35) the again, because my auto-transfer from my other account didn't have enough funds to make up the -$35.
I was baffeled, I said "you knew I had no money, so you want to charge me for it?"
They resinded the charges when I offered to sign up for their credit card - - so many of this f'n things. I think I graduated college with 7 open credit card accounts.

Re: Poorest college moment?
cramming 29 pennies is an ATM deposit envelope so I could get the balance up to $5 for all you can drink night at "The Cave". I could hear those pennies falling inside the machine as soon as the feeder tore the envelope open.
Re: Poorest college moment?
When I realized I hated dorm food, I moved into a house my friend bought. We grew "party favorites" to subsidize our income.

Re: Poorest college moment?
Either eating mayo sandwiches or waiting at my house for a new credit card to come so I could go on a school trip to Vegas.
Wow, those were the days.
