Actually there is a website devoted to it. I don't have it handy but I was just reading it last week. Posted via Mobile Device
If you come by that link, post it if you would.
And your comments remind me of the best craigslist ad I have ever read. Some dude selling his Nissan Xterra. You can google it or here is a link to read it and prepare to laugh thy arse off.

This I wanna read.
I to get tired of folks selling things for really crappy prices. On occasion I will see a vigilante post calling someone to task for a silly high price or inaccurate ad. I have come close to doing it myself but havent yet.
I have had mostly good luck with the site, sold two cars there last year. My only beef isn't really all that valid but I've been just late on a number of items even though I've emailed almost immediately. It's more bad luck on my part than a legitimate criticism of how CL works.
Probably the best thing I've done is buy a livingroom group for $1000 and resell it for $2000.
And by reasonable, I mean don't walk up and tell me you'll give me $5,000 for it. That's liable to earn you a Burmese-roundhouse-sphincter-kick with a follow up three fingered eye-jab. Would it hurt? Hell yeah. Let's just say you won't be the prettiest guy at the Coldplay concert anymore.
