Impact of Hawk fans on Cyclone Fanatic....

Threads that complain and ***** like this one do not help at all. You're only fanning the flames.

Hopefully it's just another summer on CF. Usually, here during the summer, most topics are about everything BUT Iowa State Athletics. But once football practice and school starts it gets back to normal.
Talking Hawks is better than 50 different random Off Topic threads everyday.

I think the reason there are so many Hawk fans here is because so many people create Hawk related threads. Also, if you'll notice, 75% of non-Iowa related threads somehow get turned into bickering back and forth about the rivalry.

Sometimes it's Iowa trolls that do it, but a good portion of the time it's ISU fans bringing Iowa into the equation. I have also been spending less time on the board... partially for that reason, partially for other reasons. But even I have gotten tired of the the same old conversations...

A: Hey, ISU picked up a recruit today!
B: Yeah, hopefully he doesn't get arrested like those thugs over at EIU
C: KF needs to get his guys under control
A: This guy has all the tools to be an all American!
D: Hey, all college kids drink, if you don't like it, you've never been to college!
B: Hey, Squawk doucher, get off our board!
A: EIU would be lucky to get this high profile of recruit!
F: Come on guys, be nice!
D: I'm just speaking the truth, ISU is not immune to this!
G: I'M SO SICK AND TIRED OF ALL THE HAWK FANS COMING HERE AND RUINING OUR FUN!!!!!

There aren't a lot of good cyclone sites....so I get frustrated when Hawks have to invade it (they have several more outlets).

I tend to check CF less than in the past few yrs.....just tired of the Hawk talk as the site has less ISU chatter

The arrests are all a product of the PED Mall anyway.

I've never used my ignore list, ever, but I'm strongly considering it, due to this recent influx of Hawk-ness. It's fun to spar once and awhile, but pretty soon it's like a broken record. It's obvious that the majority come over for the sole purpose of being complete *** hats, and to **** us off. Cyclonestate78 is right, if we all ignored them, they would go away. It's like that South Park episode where Cartman eats the skin off the KFC and they decide to ignore him, causing him to think he's dead.

haha then Butters is the only one who can see him. You're right, its not hard to ignore posters you don't like.

There will always be discussion of the Hawks on this site. That's just the way it will be. Who in the hell cares. It is a message board.

I like that there is hawk discussion.

What do you propose? That anyone who speaks of the Hawks on this site be banned? That is just insane.

Yes and neutered. Anybody that cheers for a different college sports team than me and posts on my sacred internet message board shouldn't be able to do their dirty breeding.
