ISU inflatables or other ideas

So every year we have a ISU vs IA party and every year I try to do something unexpected to get a laugh out of everybody or just to get the Iowa fans that show up a little worked up. A couple years ago i painted an ISU jersey on my body (BTW it was freezing at wet that day and i didn't wear a shirt from about 7:30 a.m. until about 5 that evening), last year I just wore some of the ISU striped overalls and put tempory tattoos all over and wore my ISU sweat bands but bought the biggest ISU flag I could find to put up in the yard (very satisfying since we rotate the party site every year and last year it was at the house of a Hawk fan). So anyway this year I'm thinking of buying or renting a big Cyclone inflatable. Anybody know where I can get one? I was also thinking about wearing a Cy mascot costume all day but am guessing it will be next to impossible to get one of those. I'm open for other ideas also if you have them.

You should rent a field painter and stripe your front lawn cardinal and gold.

Not a bad idea but it's not at my place this year. We rotate between 3 houses every year so that the same person isn't always doing the hosting and clean up afterwards. Next time it is I could just paint a mini field on my lawn that replicates the field at Jack Trice and then put the inflatable goal posts up.

TJPARTYRENTALS.COM does the fun zone for Iowa State . He has ISU bounce houses and such. He used to be my neighbor so we used it for block parties etc.

Is there an airplane service in the area that does sky writing?

Yeah I went to their website but didn't see anything like that. Maybe I'll just have to call and ask them as they may not put items that show team allegiances on their website. Probably would drive away some business.

you need two of those inflatable dancing guys - a red one and a gold one.

As soon as my boss adds a couple more zeros to the end of my salary (and i'm talking before the decimal point) then I'll check into these things. I'm a single father just barely making it so I'm not sure I can find it reasonable to just randomly spend money on things like what this would cost me on. I'm looking more in the $300 or less range, I may consider $400 if it was something that blew me away but that would be pushing it.

TJ Party Rentals in Belmond operates the Fun Zone at the games and owns dozens of inflatables. However, they do not own the ISU specific inflatables...ISU does. There's some sort of an agreement in place where TJ does 100% of the storage, set-up, labor, etc. Hope that helps.

You need some cheerleaders to show up and lead the cheers. Amnd a louspeaker system to play Sweet caroline. And some smoke for a giant inflated helmet.
