Last night in the Ozarks

What a great day at the lake. 86deg and ~51% humidity. Filled the boat up with gas and just went up the lake. We went from the 2mm up past Dog Days, up past party cove, up into the state park as far as you can go. We then turned around and drove up to Tan Tar a and stopped for a drink and a break. We then turned around and drove back to the 2mm. I'm guessing round trip we went around 70miles.

We then went with our in-laws (by car) up to Dog days for supper. Once back at the condo it was a margirita on the deck until 10:30. It was just a great day, one of the ones you think about all year long and try to get another when you go back the next year for vacation. Tomorrow should be about the same.

Well, headed back today. It rained this morning and is a bit overcast right now so that helps a bit. The last 3 days have great. Friday was about 90deg and fairly humid with a consistent 10mph wind out of the south. Water was warm and the day was good. Lots of people down here on Friday. It was more like a Saturday. Busy, busy.

Oh well, next trip down here.... two weeks away. Then we're brining the boat back for a weekend or two up in Iowa. Gona spend Thursday evening Sept 3rd at the Cyclone game, Friday drive to lake Rathbun, Saturday celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary, and then come back on Sunday of Labor day.
