I take it back - Se7en unnerved me...
Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice? Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this. -

Morgan Freeman is the man, and Kevin Spacey as a sociopath is perfection. The way Spacey delivers his lines is bone chilling.

Morgan Freeman is only the man in movies. Outside of acting he is a sick man.

Re: Scariest movie you've ever seen
Movies don't really scare me much now that I'm older but the ones that scared me as a kid can still get to me.
I begged my mom to let me watch IT which we had on tape but she kept telling me I was too young. I was about 10. She finally relented and I watched it and that movie scared the crap out of me. I would run and jump into bed every night so IT couldn't grab my foot on the way in and had to keep my closet door shut. Bad thing was, I had to play it off like it didn't scare me at all or she wouldn't have let me watch any other horror movies.
The scene in the Exorcist where the little kid looks under the bed for the clown doll and when he pops up it grabs him from behind terrified me. The rest of the movie didn't bother me but that one killed me.
Also, the original Omen movie I watched alone in my house at like 2 am and the part where the nanny jumped off the roof got to me.

Re: Scariest movie you've ever seen
The only movies that have ever left me legitimately scared after it was over were: Halloween (realistic slasher movie), The Shining (once again, realistic. And the subliminal images freaked me out), and The Exorcist (captain howdy may be the scariest thing in a movie....ever, even though he had about 10 seconds of screen time).

As for downright scary, I'd have to agree with Exorcist and The Ring. Both were messed up. Wow, agreed with everything. I don't remember how old I was when I watched Candyman, but I was fairly young. Not a good idea. My cousin made me say Candyman three times in a mirror and I couldn't sleep at all that night!

I was leaning on my arms on the seat in front of me, when the head floated through the hole in the bottom of the boat and I nearly got whiplash jumping back in my chair.
Scariest movie though was the Exorcist. I couldn't sleep for weeks after watching that.
Up until then, I thought the scariest movie I had ever seen was Last House on the Left, the original. But I watched some of the scary parts a couple of years ago and they were really pretty laughable and fake-looking. Of course, I was like 12 when I first saw it.

The newer Hills Have Eyes, is probably THE most Efffed up movie ever. It wasnt as scary as others, but just the plot was horrendous..

Funny thing is where they filmed Candyman, him showing up in your room wouldn't have been the scariest person in the neighborhood.
Cyclone
Iowa State became the Cyclones after they leveled Northwestern in 1895. As the Chicago Tribune (9/29/1895) noted:
'Struck by a Cyclone
It Comes from Iowa and Devastates Evanston Town' -
