I'd say the scariest movie I've ever seen was the excorcist. I first watched that alone at night on time. Bad decision. I couldn't sleep. I was so ******* freaked out by that movie. What is the scarriest movie in your opinion and why?

The Ring or Strangers. Because they were scary.
I was actually just a little freaked out when I saw one of the newer Texas Chainsaw Massacres with Jessica Biel in it. Not sure why. I've watched plenty of stupid horror movies. But, for some reason, that one bothered me for a couple of nights...
As corny as it was, Candyman. I have never, and will never, stand in front of my mirror and say "Candyman" three times in a row.
As for downright scary, I'd have to agree with Exorcist and The Ring. Both were messed up.
The Strangers, I watched that at my girlfriends creepy *** farm house in the middle of nowhere, and I was poopin my pants.. Big ole duece, in the shorts, scary... I dare you to watch that movie out on someones farm.. Do it..
Never even heard of The Strangers. I'm going to have to check that one out.
The Shining. A true masterpiece.
The Strangers was not scary.
I saw The Ring when I was like 14. Freaked me the eff out.
When the evil girl crawled through the TV set at the end of "The Ring", I screamed like a little girl and curled up in the fetal position.
I was also creeped out by "The Blair Witch Project".
The ring, Strangers, excorcist, oddly enough Joy Ride freaked me out. It made me hate truck drivers lol
The only thing that kind of got me in the strangers is the fact if you just look out your window and you just see a random person standing in your yard staring at you. If you picture it..definitely not cool. Especially after they have been messing with you. AND if your in the middle of bum eff no where.
I was 10 or 11 at the time and I snuck out of my room at like midnight to watch TV and the Devils Advocate was on HBO. Thats the only time I've ever been scared watching a movie (outside of the occasional "make you jump" scenes.)
In the PG-13 category I must submit M. Night Shyamalan's "Signs" (The one with Mel Gibson). Yeah, just a harmless PG-13 movie, right? show your 12 year olds that movie then prepare for a long week.
Black Attack 6 scared the bejesus out of me
