Another bus/pedestrian accident downtown

I walk downtown every day and jaywalking isn't the problem. The problem is drivers that don't understand that the people walking across the street have the right-away. Jaywalking is actually safer than crossing at the crosswalk. What's weird is that from my experience, these bus drivers seems to be the most alert downtown of any drivers. There are certain corners that are really bad. If you sit in that Quizno's for about 20 minutes you'll see at least a couple of people almost get hit by drivers turning left.


BTW-I believe that everyone of these accidents have been the fault of the driver and not the walker.

Not all. One of the first was known by my wife and was walking across the signal. May have been the first, actually. But I think the rest have been on the drivers. 6 outta 7, not good regardless.
