Just got my September/October copy of AARP The Magazine. An article lists the top five places to live that have a rich culture, great food, low stress, and are affordable.
City number five is Ames, Iowa. Not only do they have good things to say about Ames but they also mention ISU's award-winning Reiman Gardens. Finally they mention that Ames has recently been ranked as the sixth-smartest city in the U.S.
For those of you that live there, good going! Thanks for keeping the tradition going even if it's true that if I still lived there we would have been ranked at least third.
