Your favorite iphone apps
I am still new to the iphone and am looking for fun/useful apps.
I just downloaded wunder radio today and think that is going to be great...can stream radio stations across the country...they had KXNO on there too...the best list I have found yet...this will work great in car with mini to mini aux input...can basically listen to any station I want in the car, with the phone charging.
As for games, there have been a couple Texas Hold'em games I have liked, and the free fart machine was good for a few laughs early on, but haven't found anything that has blown me away yet.
What are some of you favorite apps, and why?

Re: Your favorite iphone apps
To name a few:
Shazam (tags the name/artist of any song that is playing)
Wikipanion (basically Wikipedia on the iPhone)
Showtimes (movie times by location)
Sportacular (Sports scores and more...live game stats/plays)
i.TV (if you have Netflix, it syncs up to it, and it is like TV Guide)
Pandora (internet radio)
Wunder Radio (streaming radio of any channel, like you mentioned)
Urbanspoon (local eatery guide)
The Weather Channel (weather...obviously better than the iPhone's default)
all of these are free (edit: except for Wunder Radio...I think I paid $5.99 for that, but it was worth it.)

What are some of you favorite apps, and why? Is show prep really that challenging for you?

Sportacular (Sports scores and more...live game stats/plays) JM: Sounds good...anything this good and not ESPN, I am interested in
Pandora (internet radio) JM: I really like this one 'Until things are brighter, I'm the man in black.' -

along the same line of iPhone apps... it is amazing the talent and ideas people put together for iPhone apps or BlackBerry apps .... it amazes me.

Re: Your favorite iphone apps
Shazam worked for me right when I got it, but that was like a year ago. Recently I've been having problems with it after their updates...but I have been trying to capture slightly obscure songs. Might want to try "midomi"...same thing basically, although it will recognize someone humming or singing (supposedly).
Sportacular is great. I got this about a year ago too, and at its most basic level it was good. I haven't gotten into the recent updates yet. I'm not an ESPN fan either, but it is as good as their "gamecast" online application and on your iPhone to boot.

Don't have an Iphone, but I was in the process of trying to develop this app when I found out there was already one just like it: Trapster® - Speed Trap Sharing System
I don't think Des Moines is big enough for it to warrant, but I can see a lot of upside in major metropolitan areas.

Games:
Labryinth-think marble in a wooden box
Photo Hunt-just like the one in the bars
Remote-if your house is mac house you can use the remote on your phone to control your itunes on your computer
Last Call-keeps track of your drinks, tells you if you can drive!
Directv-a guide and you can set your dvr from anywhere-pretty niffty.
Accuweather-best weather app I have seen
MLB App-for keeping up on baseball
Handicap-keep your golf handicap (you keep multiple people's scores)

Fieldrunners is the best game I have played on my iPod touch. Be careful though, you'll be addicted quick. I also enjoyed iDracula.

I just set my Direct TV to record something tonight, via my phone...might not use this much, but its pretty sweet to have that!

My favorites are:
Google Mobile App
Skype
MLB.com At Bat (the paid version)
Yelp
Pandora (absolute favorite)
Facebook (I use it a lot but it's a lousy app for what they can really do)
The Weather Channel
