    Re: Tailgate Dips

16 oz tub of sour cream
1 pack hidden valley ranch dips seasoning
    1/2 package sharp chedder
    1/2 package shredded bacon

stir together, let it sit in the fridge overnight. Always a HUGE hit, and is super easy.

Brianhos has posted this before, and we made it - it's really good.

Another one from here (not sure who posted it) is for buffalo ranch dip - you'll need a crockpot, but here's the recipe:

    1 brick of cream cheese
1 bottle of Frank's Red Hot Buffalo Wing sauce
    1 bottle of ranch dressing
    1 packet of shredded chicken
1 packet of shredded cheddar cheese.

Throw the first four ingredients in the crockpot until it's melted. Right before you're ready to serve it, melt in the cheddar cheese. It works well with Fritos.

I think I posted that one!

    Another one of my faves...

    1 can of Medium Rotel
    1 can Hot Rotel
2 Blocks of cream cheese, melted
mix together and pour in a pan, top with shredded cheese, diced tomatoes and peppers...

That's right!! The buffalo chicken one has made an appearance as our entire dinner a couple of times (such as Thursday last week). I'll have to try the Rotel one, since you haven't steered me wrong.

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

    Re: Tailgate Dips

We eat this one after a day of skiing.

    2 blocks of cream cheese
    1 can hot hormel chili
    Lots of fritos.

Of course that is when I used to be able to eat like that and not come close to death.

Here is one that I've made a few times and people seem to like

1 16 oz can of refried beans
    16 ozs of sour cream
1 pkg of mccormick taco seasoning
2 cups of shredded chedder cheese
    1 cup of prepared guacamole
    1 cup of chopped tomatoes
    1/2 cup of green onions
    1/2 cup of black olives

spread refried beans in a shallow serving dish

mix sour crean and seasoning mix in small bowl til well blended. spread over refried beans

top with layers of cheese, guacamole, tomato, onions, and olives.

I let it sit over night in the frig but you can serve right away though too.

I'll be there at 1 o'clock in A-2. I'm wanting to try new things this year. The description says it goes well with crackers, veggies and... fingers. I thought that was kinda silly.

Seven layer dip is an all time favorite of mine, completely forgot about it. Gonna have to make that soon too.
