    Templeton Rye Day!

Checked with a few stores today and several had just put TR on shelves today. I ended up getting two bottles ( I was almost out).

I'm not sure on other stores but when I left Hy-Vee (Valley West), they had 3 bottles on the shelf. They won't last long. I'd call first.

You haven't lived until you've had the REAL TR. Not the stuff you buy in the stores.

Well, the legal stuff will have to do. I don't have access to any bootleggers.

Mine came with a warning label that consumption might cause violent intercourse...no joke. It of course, did no such thing, because I am married.

So basically not only did it not crate violent intercourse. It created no intercourse like normal. Married life. What ya going to do.

Where are we to find the "real" TR? 1930? My time machine is broken at the moment, but when it is fixed, I'll pick some up.

Not sure where to get it, but there is a big difference.
I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everyone.

Exactly. It was a perfectly normal day, except for the grand experience of enjoying TR.

Well of course there is. If you've had the "real stuff" as you claim, it's been aged for over 70 years. This aging they speak of, I hear it does wonders for the flavor and smoothness.

The 'real stuff' refers to a bootleg version that is still produced today. I had some recently and it is quite good.

I'm not much of a TR guy myself but rather prefer the Irish whiskies.
