HELP!!!! Hooking my computer to tv

Okay, I have my computer hooked to my tv to watch the game. The quality is great however the image on the screen is not centered and there is about 2 inches of black space on the left side of my tv, therefore leaving the right side of images off of the screen. How do I slide the image over?? Thanks

Try changing the display settings on your computer. 1440 x 900 should look good. Also, try refreshing your PC feed or just turn off the TV and turn it back on. Let me know how it goes, there's more that can be tweaked to fix it.

Its a PC. I shut the tv off but that didnt work. I have messed with the resolutions, but the quality isnt near as good. Right now I have it at 1024*768. That looks the best, but the image is just too far to the right. Any other suggestions.
