Where were these people when this stuff was originally being figured out? They were probably a silent minority. Speaking out against anything religious, even in this group of revolutionaries, was probably not politically or personally beneficial.

While it could be an interesting topic merting discussion outside of the staunch far left/far right views of the Cave, there is a reason politics got moved off the main board in the first place...
