And I thought Fat Tire was good beer

I had a glass of Odell 90 Shilling while watching the Iowa State/Iowa game.

This stuff is also brewed in Fort Collins, and is outstanding.

I don't know if it is available outside of Colorado; if it is not it is another one of the benefits of living in this state.

My brother-in-law drives to Missouri and picks up Odell products. Not in Iowa, however.

90 Shilling is much better than Fat Tire.

I think you can get it in Omaha now, but that's the closest it gets to Iowa at this point.

I had a friend that lived in Ft. Collins and he'd always bring at least 5 or 6 cases of that back whenever he came to visit. Great stuff!

Odell does some decent beers, though most of the really good beers of their's I have had is seasonal. They made a great imperial pilsner for a while.

I agree. Fat tire is really just on ok brew. If you get the chance try some Old Chub. It has officially been named the camping and boating beer of our household.

My GF's favorite beer. Brought 2 cases back from Colorado this summer. Their IPA is my favorite.

Fat Tire is alright, its a decent brew but nothing special.

I think most people who hype up Fat Tire as a great beer do so because they don't drink much variety and are comparing it to Bud or Miller or any other weak domestic.

Every beer that's not available where you are is the best or better. Fat Tire used to be that beer.

I had one from the tap on Saturday night. Not a bad brew. I give it probably a B to B+. Definitely worth a try.
