dumb mac question

just got a new imac, and i can't paste pictures like i did on my pc...what do i do?

What program are you using? Are you wanting to go from web browser to another document? Need more info.

Using safari and trying to paste to boards like this..

I'm not sure how to do that. I have always held "ctrl" and clicked on the photo. I copy the image address go to CF, click on the image button, and paste the address.

I'm not familiar with macs, but do you have the newest safari? and did you use safari on a pc and got it work?

I have used safari on PC's at work. No problems at all for me.

I just pulled the picture without problem. Don't hit the link that creates a full-size image. Instead, just drag the picture to the desktop, and it should create a jpeg, which you can crop how you see fit. And yes, I am on a Mac.

I usually save this stuff in PS and not iPhoto.

Upload the pic into the CF database, and attach.

Hmmmm, I see what you want to do. I guess I never knew that was an option. Always have done it this way.

Right-click or control-click on the image, click "Copy Image Address." Here on CF, click the picture icon, use Command/Apple-V to paste the image address.
