Since my IT guy is MIA........I tried to print a PDF to a printer on our network at work yesterday afternoon, and it still hasn't printed, and won't go away even though I've cancelled it and it says "deleting" (and has since yesterday).
Any ideas about getting rid of this? I can't print to that printer until that gets out of the queue. Thanks!

Is the printer stuck processing the job? This happens occasionally on our HP LaserJet Postscript printers. Somehow the printer's CPU gets fouled up processing the job. In our case, rebooting the printer is the only solution. The job stuck in the "deleting" phase will then go away.
"Don't worry Boss...they can't do nothin' 'til they're through sparklin'..."

Does unplugging reboot it? If so, I've tried that. The printer seems oblivious to the fact that I'm trying to use it.

Try this. See if you can get to this folder. C:\windows\system32\spool\PRINTERS You can copy that into your RUN line and hit enter. If you can view it, is there anything in there?
