Going to do this for the first time this winter. Read some about it, does not seem like there is a special technique or seed used for it...but I did not find a lot online about it - or as much as I expected to find.

I always like to mow the grass longer all year and then drop the deck a couple notches this time of year - especially when I'm going to fall overseed or in this case - do it in December.

Any other recommendations or seed to use that is best served for this application?
