So Pollard went from letting him borrow it to actually giving it to him. I'm sure that the transfer of title will magically be taken care of tomorrow.
Re: KU player in accident with ex-KU players' car
I'm sure they are scrambling at the court house now, to get everything post dated.
Re: KU player in accident with ex-KU players' car
Poor Wildcat Kevin Ketzman (810's Between the lines guy) didn't have the big story he wanted. He lives to bring KU down and now that K-State sucks he's working overtime.
Re: KU player in accident with ex-KU players' car
Yeah whatever you say traj. Lets see how the "transfer of title is handled" I'm sure he paid a "fair" price for it.

Rex Walters most certainly did own quite a bit of real estate in Lawrence and I was told he was very generous to parents of players.
I recall at least one of Collison's parents moving to Lawrence, but it wasn't for four years. The only reason I remember that is because Roy was upset when Collison when back to Iowa for the summer after his freshman year and had his mom spotting for him while lifting. I think he stayed in Lawrence every summer after that, so maybe that's when one or both parents moved.

He had to pay a fair price for it or the NCAA would be all over it. Even Pollard is smart enough to know that...maybe.

Funny how Jiri gets 6 games for driving his former host parents' car who were season ticket holders 20 years ago. Morris will get nothing. You'd think that if the news knew it was Pollard's car, it was probably in Pollard's name at the time of the accident. But it will be in Morris's name tomorrow I'm sure. What a joke KU and the NCAA are.

Apparently the assistant AD said that the purchase went through their compliance department. The car was purchased by the player. Honestly this is much ado about nothing.

Which opens the door for a no-name pencil pusher to be the fall guy, instead of the athlete getting punished.

Their basketball program is already on probation. If they are that stupid I'd be surprised.

The probation, as far as I can tell, ends this Sunday. Interesting.

Though the report listed damage at or equal to $1000 to the Grand Am, Morris, three passengers in the Tahoe (a 20-year old male and two females ages 16 and 22) and two females in the Grand Am denied medical attention.
Really? You're in college and you're hanging out with a 16 year old girl?
