KU player in accident with ex-KU players' car
One of the Morris twins in a car accident driving Pollard's car. Reported on 810 AM out of KC. You would certainly consider Scott Pollard a booster for KU. I feel a little wrist slap resulting from this.

Re: KU player in accident with ex-KU players' car
Kansas basketball has been doing this stuff for years. When Roy Williams was there almost all of the parents of the players quit their jobs and moved to Lawrence for four years to follow their sons careers. Former KU guard Rex Walters owns a bunch of real estate in the area and has been rumored to have helped out parents of KU players in the past.

NHL teams need to be added to the favorite teams section. -

Hinrich was still at SC West for Kirk's Freshman season at Kansas, and I think his Soph season. Even when he left Sioux City, he went to coach in Kansas City. Never lived in Lawrence.

Yep, the king scumbag Lew Perkins will cover this up and tell everyone it is no big deal. Nothing will come of this.

Never lived in Lawrence. I'm not saying any of this is true but it is easier to hide people in KC than in Lawrence. So both sides could probably be correct.

Collison's parents moved to Lawrence, and many other players there have their parents move there while they were in college. Roy Williams was not squeaky clean like some might think. Rex Walters most certainly did own quite a bit of real estate in Lawrence and I was told he was very generous to parents of players.

Maybe their NBA players just "leave" extra cars in Lawrence for players to drive around if needed.

Re: KU player in accident with ex-KU players' car
Pure speculation but I'm guessing that if Diante Garrett was in a wreck driving a car registered to..... let's say Fred Hoiberg. The NCAA would be on a red eye flight to Ames.
Back to the KU situation, Was there any mention that he wrecked while trying to run over a football palyer?? -
Re: KU player in accident with ex-KU players' car
How much you want to bet that these scum bags glaze this over. Not even self reported like when Uri. got suspended. They totally got *busted* with a wreck. Who wants to bet that the NCAA (National Cheating and ******* Association) Looks the other way. IF it was Isu he'd be kicked out completely for not reporting it ahead of time.
But hey it's KU. I'm thinking time serve 1 day of missed practice, if that. Maybe he won't be able to go to Midnight madness.
But I'm sure this is the one and only time that he has ever used the car and just so happened the only time that he used it he wrecked it. No way he drives that every day. Never happened before and never will again *cough* *cough* Gotta love the double standard.
Whatever. They should call it the National Cha-ching athletic association. Thell never go after their bread and butter basketball school. I'll be suprised if they ever do anything. They'll wait until barnes' mom gives him a ride to practice some day and throw the book at ISU!
NCAA what a joke.

Asst. athletic director on now, just a big misunderstanding. "Used to be Pollard's car."

Re: KU player in accident with ex-KU players' car
