Re: Cell Phone Purchase
From talking with some of my friends at work, the storm is definitely a favorite.

Re: Cell Phone Purchase
I own two storms......I love them...it gets a bit to get used to lots of thins to do with them...but I can watch espn360 when I am at a airport. Texting is great, I love the texting on this. Using bluetooth is easy and depending on the equiptment (Jawbone) reception is good. Over all...I give it a 8 not a 9 because I have not had a issue yet...I know I will eventually...and not a ten cause it can always get better

Re: Cell Phone Purchase
I believe the Storm2 is coming out within the next month or so... supposed to have resolved some of the big complaints from the Storm.
I've never owned a BlackBerry, so I don't know but it sounds pretty sweet
Oh we will fight, fight, fight for Iowa State, and may her colors ever fly!!! In Accordance with Prophecy -

Re: Cell Phone Purchase
I should point out that I'm open to suggestions, just not about iphones or anything else that costs 2-300 bucks.
I hope I can wait. If I cant get my sync'd back up and running at least part way I'll be in trouble.

Re: Cell Phone Purchase
I was in the same boat as you not too long ago. I decided to go with the HTC Touch Pro. I like it so far, but I also have the Alltel version. Verizon destroyed the phone by cutting the memory among other things, and based on what I've read I would not recommend their version. I also read a lot of bad things about the Storm when I was looking, but I've never used it. If you have big fingers like I do and like to use a stylus, the Omnia's stylus just hangs off the side of the phone, which I was not a fan of. Otherwise people seem to like the Omnia. Of course, much of this is from me just reading online reviews too, so take it for what it's worth.

My daughter loves her Storm. I, however, am stuck with my LG VX8700 until next month.

Battery life....example...if you serve the net and text alot...sure the battery life will not last...like any phone. If you drop the phone constantly...sure it will break...eventually....Its how you take care of it..its a electronic item not a babys toy

That might be a problem with the new storm. I can get the old one for 50 but I guess the new one will probably start out closer to 200.

Re: Cell Phone Purchase
I love my Palm Pre and I heard that's coming to Verizon maybe beginning of next year. Of the ones you listed I'd say the Storm, although I'm not a huge fan of it or Blackberry's in general, but that's just personal preference I suppose.
