Heat's on here, and it's way too early for us to need to talk about snow. Ugh.

I feel for our two Jamaican students in Ankeny this week. A cold burst of reality is setting in for them. Ouch.

It's been snowing here in Lincoln for a while now. There is probably between 2-3 inches on the ground!

Snow on the ground here, and we get to go stand outside for a soccer game...18 degree windchill.

I'm finally considering turning off my air conditioning and opening the windows down here in New Orleans today. Granted yesterday the heat index was above 95 again so I'm not sure if I'll do that or not.

I used to think the first snowfall was kind of fun to look at. Now that I'm old(er), it just represents winter coming and the pain in the *** of driveway clearing.

Our heat's been on for a week. My wife's blood is almost Arizona thin, which I pretty much guarantee is where she'll drag me to live when the last kid leaves high school. Honestly, I may not kick and scream much.
