    Re: SAW 6

I personally hate these movies. I just don't find it enjoyable to watch people do some of the terrible things that happen in these movies. I understand some people like the blood and guts, but I just think it's nasty and can't believe they've made 6.

Don't get me wrong, I love good action movies but I just don't find it enjoyable to watch someone cut their own leg off or dive into a pit of needles or anything along these lines... So I won't be seeing this as I haven't seen the last 4.

    Re: SAW 6

The only truly GREAT Saw movie was the first one. They changed the formula after that and made it more of a slasher franchise than what Saw 1 was. With that said, I did enjoy Saw 2-5 in their own rights, but have been disappointed that they have strayed further and further away from being a psychological horror franchise and more towards the slasher/gore style.

Saw 1 was brilliant, Saw 2 was good, and the rest have been just ok. I still plan to watch 6, but am not completely fired up about it.

    Re: SAW 6

Just started watching them this summer. Can't wait to see one on the big screen. One and two were the best plot-wise but they still have enough legitimate suspense to keep me interested.

    Re: SAW 6

Saw is the worst...I repeat, WORST horror franchise to appear on the big screen.

It's derivative, cliche'd schlock that only the lowest common denominator could possibly find interesting/compelling.

SAW has more box-office success, but so much of the bilge that is being generated by Hollywood these days is--by financial math--going straight to DVD and then to the bone-head library staffs who feel compelled to buy their crap under some pretentious "free speech" self-martyrdom. You should see the crap in our library. And I am not a prude....I like random nudity in my movies as much as anybody...I just hate the waste of tax money. Mine has all the SAW movies, all the Michael Moore movies indexed in "non-fiction", and every Lindsay Lohan movie ever made.

I have heard about people like you. I always thought it was rumor, made up to scare free thinking people's children into eating organic vegetables and doing their homework on equality.

I am ashamed to be a fan of the same collegiate sports team as you, sir.

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."
