Visiting NYC for Thanksgiving with my wife and a friend who lives in Ithaca. Wife really wants to do the Macy's Parade thing. Our hotel is in Midtown along the route (right at the corner of 7th Ave and 47th St). Any advice on attending the parade or things to see in NYC on a short schedule (2 days). Times Square, Central Park and Rockefellar Plaza, and Broadway are within a couple blocks so we'll definitely check those out, but I'd like to know what other stuff is worth the subway trip (or is not).
