I suppose if you think the shot should be 100% effective in stopping all illness then you'll probably be disappointed. And as someone else already said, it takes time for your body to build up immunities after getting the shot.
I just find it odd that less than a week after getting the whatever they are getting sick, while others around them that havnt got the whatever dont get sick. I would be a bit upset if I got sick after getting a shot that is suppose to prevent illness.
If someone has the flu right now, its very likely its H1N1, seasonal flu doesn't really get going until into November.
My son and I have been home all week with the flu. Our doctor wasn't concerned about the type of flu it is since both are treated in the same way. I'm assuming it's not the swine since we haven't combusted into a feverish ball of flames yet. Feels like a cold, the most mild flu we've ever had.
