Re: Iowa High School Playoffs...Here they are!
This is a little OT but does anyone know where I can find the number of teams that participate in each class?

No team with a losing record should be in The Association does not make any money on a bye. It is all about the association making money in the playoffs. Looking at the list there are going to be a lot of blow outs!

Re: Iowa High School Playoffs...Here they are!
Looks like the best A teams are in eastern Iowa. Did they play against Illinois teams?
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -
Re: Iowa High School Playoffs...Here they are!
It's just rediculous. They expanded the field two years ago.
I went to Ames High and even I think they shouldn't be in. Dowling gains nothing except for the chance to get someone hurt.
We went 5-4 my two years on varsity and missed the playoffs twice. With this system we would still have gotten in. I still am not in favor of it. You EARN the playoffs, you don't fall into it. Only 9 teams in the west side of the state don't make it. 16 of 25 do.
Remember that stressed spelled backwards is desserts!

You could, you know, add up the number of lines under each class and multiply it by 2 to come up with the number of teams participating. Asteroids are nature's way of asking "How's that space program going?" -
Re: Iowa High School Playoffs...Here they are!
Meh, it's the same way down here. If you have a win or two everybody gets in.
